Everett posts a proven 25+ year track record of outstanding organizational leadership with extensive experience driving growth and innovation, building high-performance teams and mentoring executives. He is considered an expert in the areas of Strategic Innovation and Change Leadership and holds a Foresight Certification as a Futurist from the Institute for the Future (IFTF). Everett previously held key executive leadership positions at Monsanto, The NutraSweet Company and The Coca-Cola Company. With experience in business innovation, sales and marketing, global strategy development and team management, Everett has staffed global cross-functional teams and executed the launch of successful new products within the Consumer Goods, Chemical, Food and Industrial sectors.
As a Partner with Growth River LLC, Everett works closely with executives and their teams to enhance performance, strategic alignment and to drive growth and change. He has worked with key firms including: Cox Enterprises, Cox Automotive, Panasonic, Navigant Healthcare, Piedmont Healthcare, Regions Bank, PlayCore and others. As an adjunct professor, he lectures on Strategic Innovation Management/Implementation and Entrepreneurship at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and he co-developed the Certified Professional Innovator Program at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
A well-respected and sought-after expert and speaker, Everett is a frequent lecturer to audiences on the topics of strategic innovation and change leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Atlanta’s Morehouse College and an M.B.A. from Washington University’s Olin School of Business. Everett resides in Atlanta with his wife. He enjoys golf, theatre and reading.
