Accountability is a Mindset of being answerable to others, coachable for outcomes and ethical always. 

Attributes of accountable people include:

  • An expanded definition of accountability beyond myself to my role, our customer, our Team, our Organization, our Community, etc.
  • Thinking and acting beyond personal comfort or security.
  • Getting jobs done right and doing the right jobs.
  • On a learning journey to have greater positive impact.

Accountability is one of the Four As, which include four specific Mindsets or ways-of-being that have been identified as attributes of High-Performing leaders. These are applied as part of the Shift Mindset Conversation.
