Compelling Requests refers to team members making time-bound, specific, and actionable requests that compel others to engage. The objective is to set up a collaborative conversation. The method is to ask the other party to help you frame a request so that they will be compelled to reply with “yes” or “yes-if” instead of “no.” Applying this method is key skill for Aligning Between Roles and Aligning Between Teams.
