High-performing team (HPT) refers to an intact team with a single team leader that is aligned in purpose and intent and able to navigate the swirl through intentional ways of working. A high-performing team has a culture of trust and a sense of “we are all in this together.” They are also marked by a high level of commitment, a passion to deliver results, and the desire to see each other succeed.
