Visualizing Shared Work refers to team members visualizing workflows, processes, and systems as a basis for continuous improvement. We human beings are visual creatures. If we can see it and accurately name it, we can align to engage with it, whatever it is, together. Envisioning the processes and systems around us is the first step toward creating a shared language, defining accurate challenge statements, defining shared work, and aligning solutions. This links to the Driving Focus crucial conversation. Figure G.20 shows one method for teams to visualize shared work as a bullseye.
